Trust & Data

Intelligence should show its work—and leave uncertainty visible.

Captrz is being designed around evidence lineage, freshness, responsible use of AI, and clear separation between what a source says, what the product infers, and what still needs confirmation.

Evidence lineage

From source to decision without hiding the joins.

  1. 01SOURCE

    Where the information originated.

  2. 02FACT

    What the source directly supports.

  3. 03INFERENCE

What the evidence may reasonably suggest.

  4. 04ROUTE

How the opportunity may be approached.

  5. 05DECISION

What a person chooses to do next.

A disciplined truth model

Fact, inference, and unknown remain part of one record.

These states are connected—not detached labels. A responsible recommendation depends on seeing which statements are supported, which are interpretive, and which questions remain open.

Fact

Directly supported

A published source or approved company record contains the underlying information.

Inference

Reasoned from evidence

The available information may suggest fit, risk, timing, or route, but interpretation is not presented as source fact.

Unknown

Intentionally unresolved

Missing, conflicting, or stale information remains a visible question with a possible next step.

Source lineage

The recommendation is only as useful as the context behind it.

01Public or approved source

A notice, forecast, record, or approved company input.

02Normalized opportunity

Buyer, timing, scope, and source context organized.

03Requirement evidence

Relevant facts linked to their supporting material.

04Company match

Visible capability evidence compared with the need.

05Recommendation

Route, unknowns, and next decision shown together.

Public and approved sources

Original context stays important.

Captrz may organize information from public-sector sources and from information a user or organization is authorized to provide. Source availability, completeness, format, and update timing can vary.

Captrz should support review of original material where feasible. It is not positioned as a universal, complete, or real-time copy of every public-sector source, and it does not replace verification against the source used for a business decision.

Freshness

Information changes. The record should show that.

  1. 1Observed

A source or approved input is first recorded.

  2. 2Checked

Relevant timing and context are reviewed.

  3. 3Changed

An amendment or new signal may alter the picture.

  4. 4Re-evaluated

Fit, evidence, route, and unknowns may be updated.

Responsible use of AI

AI can clarify evidence. It should not manufacture certainty.

AI-assisted analysis can help organize information, identify relevant relationships, and explain a possible pursuit path. It can also be incomplete or wrong. Users should review important source material and make their own business, legal, compliance, and submission decisions.

  1. 01
    Keep source and interpretation distinct

AI-supported conclusions should not be presented as though they appeared in an original source.

  2. 02
    Retain unknowns

An incomplete answer should remain incomplete rather than being filled with confident-sounding text.

  3. 03
    Avoid false precision

Qualitative context is preferable to unsupported win probabilities or scientific-looking scores.

  4. 04
    Require human review

AI output is decision support, not a substitute for professional judgment or source verification.

Operating and design principles

Trust is built in the way the product is handled.

These are principles guiding the product and its operation. They are not certifications, audit claims, or guarantees.

Controlled access

Access should be limited to authorized use and appropriate account context.

Least privilege

People and systems should receive only the access needed for their role.

Account separation

Customer contexts should remain logically separated, with cross-account leakage treated as a material risk.

Secret handling

Credentials and operational secrets should not be exposed in client code, URLs, or public repositories.

Auditability

Important system and data actions should be capable of appropriate review.

Retention discipline

Information should not be kept longer than needed for legitimate operating, contractual, or legal purposes.

Vendor review

Third-party services should be evaluated in proportion to the data and function they handle.

AI input boundaries

Prompt injection, untrusted source content, and unintended disclosure should be treated as design risks.

Data minimization

Personal information should be limited to what is reasonably needed for the service and relationship.

Better decisions, visible context

Use intelligence as a route to better questions—not unsupported certainty.
